PreK-Title 1
The PreK-Title 1 Program is designed to provide a child centered, developmentally appropriate experience for four-year-old children in need of academic support. The program stresses an environment that motivates learning through exploration and discovery. The goal of the program is to prepare children to enter Kindergarten ready to learn and succeed.
Hilburn Academy
Hilburn Academy is part of the Wake County Public School System in
Raleigh, North Carolina. Wake's only combined NC STEAM Collaboration
Network school and Global Studies Network school, Hilburn is also the
district's sole preK-8 program. The application of the Engineering
Design Process, the use of project-based learning, and a technology-rich
environment define Hilburn as the school system's unique"21st Century
Learning Campus."
